“Biotech Crops: How should Singapore exploit the opportunities”

The Genetic Modification Advisory Committee (GMAC) and the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications (ISAAA) will be co-organizing a public forum to address key issues surrounding biotech (also known as genetically modified) crops.

SIBiol is inviting applications for Research Grants under the Institute’s Research Trust Fund (RTF). The aim of the RTF grants is to support/facilitate research on local topics/questions in biology by SIBiol members. Applications are open to Ordinary members and Student members. Grants awarded are up to a maximum of S$5,000. Closing date is 2 January 2007.
